In 2012, Disney will release a series of open edition Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides figures. You will notice that the ears contain the same starry-sky design that the original Vinylmation series of Pirates of the Caribbean had, which will allow these to display quite well together. Below you will see Jack Sparrow, Hector Barbossa, Angelica and Blackbeard.

The annual trading show, this year dubbed The Florida Project, is certainly the best place for getting new info on the upcoming year’s (or years’) Vinlymation projects, and this year did not disappoint. On top of getting new teases and previews for Park, Urban, Animation, Nerds, Jr., and Star Wars series, we also saw new info and completed figures from a slew of series that were newly announced!

melgotserved asked: Are there different odds in a series for how often a figure shows up? I've always heard it's all even except the chaser but I've bought 6 Lion Kings and gotten THREE Mufasas now. I know other series, like Dunny or Simpsons, list the odds of getting the characters on the side of the box.
Aside from the Chaser and the Variants of figures, all the others have even odds. EXCEPT there will be three of one figure in order to account for the missing spot since there is only ONE of the Chaser design. We call this spot a “Filler”.

In a bit of a surprising move, Park Series 9 pins were allegedly and accidentally released on the West Coast and have already been pulled from store shelves. The series revealed 10 of the 12 figures that will be part of the blind box series, and below you can see the 11 designs expected to be released in 3″ vinyl figure form. All but the Dole Whip design will be featured in pin form.
